WOMEN'S RETREAT 2023

Enjoy three days of worship, rest, laughter, connecting with old friends, making new friends, praying for each other, gorgeous hikes, and discovering more about the character of God at Creekside's annual women's retreat at Mount Hermon in the Santa Cruz mountains. All women 13 and up are welcome. You do not need to attend Creekside to come to the retreat.

OUR THEME

This year’s theme is “Living Water” and we will focus on the story of the woman at the well from John 4. Our key verse is “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty forever” (John 4:13). We’ll talk about what we thirst for, why we thirst for it, where we look to get it, and how only Jesus can satisfy it.

RETREAT HIGHLIGHTS

The retreat begins at dinner at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 27th and ends after lunch at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29th. In addition to times of teaching, sharing, and worship, you will enjoy six delicious meals in the dining hall, and have plenty of free time to hike among the redwoods and ferns on one of Mount Hermon's streamside trails, enjoy the MacAfee Fieldhouse, which features ping-pong, air hockey, and other games as well as basketball and volleyball courts, sip a latte at the coffee shop, play board games, explore boutiques and antique shops in the nearby towns of Capitola, Aptos, and Santa Cruz, browse through an excellent selection of books in the gift shop, see an old growth redwood forest at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, eat delicious ice cream at the Mount Hermon snack shop or at the amazing Marianne's Ice Cream in downtown Santa Cruz, and much more!

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are funded by Women’s Retreat fundraisers and the generosity of donors. You can request a scholarship when you sign up using the form below or by contacting Sohini Chan.

2. Pay using one of the following options (Note: if using a credit card, please add $5 per registration to cover the credit card fees):

a. Pay online at Creekside's giving page. Select “Make a Gift”, then select “Give One Time”, and finally select "Women’s Retreat" from the drop down menu. 

b. Send a payment via PayPal to church@creeksidecommunity.org - please indicate that this money is for the Women's Retreat.

c. Mail a check to Creekside Community Church, 951 MacArthur Blvd., San Leandro, CA 94577. Be sure to write "Women’s Retreat 2023" in the memo section.
