Creekside Music Club Camp

All students entering 6th-12th grade are invited to join us for CMC Summer Camp. This will be a week-long intensive from June 24th-28th and will meet from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. each day with the goal of putting on a concert at the end of the week.

The students get to pick the age appropriate songs that we’ll perform at the end of the week. They can be pop, rock, blues, jazz, funk, or soul - basically anything they think they can pull off. Amps, keyboards, and drums will be provided, but instrumentalists will need to bring their own instruments (guitar, bass, sax, trumpet, kazoo, etc.) Most of the songs we do tend to be pop, but we arrange to the ensemble, so if there are winds and strings, we try to figure out creative ways to involve all players.

CMC participant’s musical experience tends to be slightly above beginner to intermediate level.

There will not be a lot of time to teach an instrument like guitar, bass, drums, or piano, so some basic ability will make the experience better. However, there are not just musical roles; there are also opportunities to learn about lighting, video, and audio production.

The cost is $40 per camper and scholarships are available. Sign up below or contact Max Butler for more information. To pay online click here and select “Creekside Music Club“.
