Did you know that every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood? It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. However, the American Red Cross blood supply is historically low right now and the holiday season is a particularly difficult time to find donors. Would you consider giving blood? Creekside is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive in the Community Room on Saturday, May 31st from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. To schedule your appointment, please visit here. To receive more information or ask any questions about the drive, contact Michael Gregory at (510) 846-1282. If you are interested in providing baked goods for the donors and phlebotomists, please contact Dale Gregory.
