Building Futures seeks to end homelessness and domestic violence by providing community education, outreach, housing, and supportive services to help women become independent and capable of caring for themselves and their children. Creekside partners with with this organization by cooking dinners for the women and collecting supplies throughout the year. Contact Angie Pak for more information.
April Showers is an outreach to the homeless in our community. On the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month, showers, hot meals, clothes, toiletries, bag lunches, hair cuts and laundry vouchers are offered at the Boys and Girls Club in San Leandro. Creekside partners with this organization by volunteering one Sunday a month. We also collect toiletries and other needed items to donate. Contact Lucy Stokely for more information.
The Red Cross
The Red Cross helps provide relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Creekside partners with this organization by hosting blood drives throughout the year. Contact Dale Gregory for more information.
San Lorenzo Family help Center
The San Lorenzo Family Help Center has a food pantry that currently serves 2500-3000 people per month with new people signing up every day. Creekside partners with this organization by collecting canned and non-perishable food year round. Contact Susan Norman for more information.
Stepping Stones exists to enhance the independence, self-sufficiency, and productivity of individuals with developmental disabilities who might otherwise be alienated from the mainstream of society. Creekside partners with this organization by hosting events throughout the year, such as game nights and our annual Valentines Dance. Contact Kathy Greer for more information.
