Come join Max for the first of what will be a weekly gathering aimed at giving Creeksiders a chance to develop and grow in their musicianship. There will be a weekly sign up for those who want to attend. We will fellowship pray and learn how to make music. There are also opportunities to learn about audio, video and technology.
Camp O' Fun is Creekside's
annual vacation Bible school for kids entering 1st-6th grade. We meet from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., July 8th-12th. Our theme this year is "Legend Of The Forgotten King" and campers
will join
a medieval village, make candles, storm castles, undertake daily quests,
create their own
bestiaries, joust, fight dragons, earn
gold coins and make purchases at the market, learn a new language,
compete in a
tournament, design a coat of arms, and much more! They'll also learn
about the life of Jesus and discover how he proved that he is the true
king. Plus, they'll experience all of the games, crafts, skits, snacks,
and songs they've come to expect from Camp O' Fun. The cost is $35 per
camper and camperships are available. Sign up online or call Jenny Sloat at (510) 430-0607.
Camp O' Fun Jr. is a pint-sized version of Camp O' Fun designed
especially for 3-5 year olds. We meet from 9:00-11:00 a.m., July 15th-19th. We'll make crafts, play games, sing songs,
have fun with a parachute, eat snacks, and learn about Jesus. The cost
is $25 per
camper and camperships are available. Sign up online or call Jenny Sloat at (510) 430-0607.
Middle
and High School students are invited to spend a week of fishing, water
skiing, wakeboarding, Bible study, worship and much more. Total cost of the
camp is $395 per student and includes all meals, gas for boats and houseboat
rental. Parent volunteers are welcome. Space is limited. Contact Richard Moore at (510) 430-0607 for more information.
