In the Jungle Sunday school class, preschoolers enjoy make believe, blocks, puzzles, play dough, trains, trucks, books and more as well as games and crafts that are integrated with the Bible lesson for the day. They also learn more about God through a bible story and eat snacks.

Curriculum              
At Creekside, we want children to grow to love God, love God's Word, and love people. In the Jungle, our goal is to introduce the children to God's character so that they may grow to love and trust Him. We do this by studying 26 attributes of God (spending a month on each attribute) using 104 different Bible stories. Our hope is that children will leave the Jungle with a greater understanding and excitement about who God is.

Curriculum Handouts          
You can reinforce what your child learns in the Jungle by picking up a curriculum handout. These are located by the sign in sheet an contain a synopsis of the Bible story, projects to do together, things to discuss and a coloring page.

Check In And Check Out               
When you arrive in the Jungle, please write your child's name on the sign in sheet along with any pertinent information such as food allergies, where you will be sitting during the service, etc. A teacher will then give you and your child matching number stickers to wear. Please place any of your child's extra items (jacket, snack, etc.) in the green tray with the same number. To insure your child's safety, a teacher will verify that your number matches the number on your child's back at pick up time.

Sickness Policy            
In order to keep the Jungle a healthy place for everyone, we cannot accept any children with a fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea, or any other sign of illness. If your child is sick, please keep him or her with you in the main service.

Snacks         
We serve a snack of Goldfish crackers during the morning's activities. If your child has as allergy or special need, please notify a teacher upon dropp off. Parents are encouraged to provide an alternate snack if necessary.

Promotion        
Children who are entering kindergarten in the fall may move up to the K-1st grade class between June and September.
