Old Testament Survey
General Description: In 586 B.C., the Babylonians destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem and the Jewish people were taken into exile for 70 years. Join us as we read through the historical and prophetic texts that chronologically compose the final portion of the Old Testament. As we read the books of Nehemiah, Ezra, Esther, Daniel, Lamentations, Haggai, Malachi, and others, we will learn how God fulfilled His covenantal promise and restored the Jewish people to the land of Juda. The format is an open discussion Bible study. Preparation requires reading 3-5 chapters from the Old Testament each week.
