SEPTEMBER:  

● Dinner And A Movie: Friday, September 5th at 5:30 p.m.

Join us for a delicious spaghetti dinner and a movie from 5:30-8:30 p.m.  The suggested donation is $3.  We've invited our friends from Stepping Stones to join us.  Call Anthony Baca at (510) 860-2077 for opportunities to serve dinner and mingle with our guests.

● Baptism: Sunday, September 7th at 5:00 p.m.

If you have received Jesus as Savior and Lord but have never been baptized, we invite you to join us at a special evening baptism at Cull Canyon Park.  If you would like more information about baptism, contact John Bruce at (510) 430-0607.

● Aristocats Auditions: Monday, September 8th at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30 p.m.

Kids in 1st-5th grade are invited to join us for auditions for Disney's classic musical, The Aristocats.  Auditions will consist of reading scenes from the script and singing a song from the show.  Everyone who auditions will be cast and this program is free of charge.  Rehearsals meet on Mondays (and occasionally Fridays) from 3:30-4:30 and performances are scheduled for November 21st and 22nd.  To receive an audition packet and schedule an audition time, please contact Jenny Bruce at (510) 430-0607.

● Schoolhouse Rock Live Auditions: Tuesday, September 9th at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30 p.m.

6th-8th graders are invited to join us for auditions for Schoolhouse Rock LIVE!, a hilarious and energetic musical based on the Emmy award winning cartoon.  Auditions will consist of reading scenes from the script and singing a song from the show.  Everyone who auditions will be cast and this program is free of charge.  Rehearsals meet on Mondays (and occasionally Fridays) from 4:30-6:30 and performances are scheduled for December 12th and 13th.  To receive an audition packet and schedule an audition time, please contact Jenny Bruce at (510) 430-0607.

● Church And Picnic In The Park: Sunday, September 14th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

OCTOBER:  

● Men's Retreat: October 10th-12th at Mount Hermon Christian Center

If you want to get spiritually recharged and build stronger relationships with the men in the church, please sign up for the 2008 Men's Retreat.  John Bruce will be our speaker.  There are approximately 30 slots left and they fill up quickly.  The cost is $150 and includes 2 nights in a 2 person room, 5 meals, and snacks.  There will also be planned sports and recreation.  For more information, contact Joe Grijalva at (510) 278-0627.

● Love San Leandro: Saturday, October 11th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
