Creekside's 4th-5th graders enjoy a class featuring games, Bible discussion, fun projects, personal sharing, and prayer.

Curriculum
At Creekside, we want children to grow to love God, love God's Word, and love people. In our 4th-5th grade class, our goal is to help children understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and how that impacts our relationship with God, His Word, and people. We discuss subjects like how to pray, overcoming problems, the nature of God, how the Bible is arranged, sharing your faith, serving in the church and community, applying the Bible to your life, the Holy Spirit, and more. We currently use a combination of David C. Cook curriculum and Campus Crusade's Children's Discipleship Series.

Curriculum Handouts
When you pick up your child, be sure to take a handout that covers the curriculum we used that morning to help reinforce the concepts they learned on Sunday.

Snacks
We normally do not serve snacks in the 4th-5th grade class, but occassionally do a project that involves candy, decorating cookies, and the like. Please let your child's teacher know if your child has a food allergy.

Promotion
Children who are entering 6th grade in the fall may move up to Catalyst, Creekside's middle school class, between June and September.
